Back in town!

I had an amazing time in Portugal and I enjoyed seeing my family so much, but the time had come and I had to leave. I am so thankful that I could stay there with my family the whole time, I wouldn't wanna spend it anywhere else. So now I'm back in town and I'm working again, saving up money to see what the world brings me next time. And honestly I can't wait to see what happens next but I'll let you know soon!

Shopping, beach and walking around.

So, it has been a while, not that i've been that busy, i've just been waaaay to lazy to write ( I know, makes no sense, but yeah holiday feeling!) so a couple of days ago my aunt decided she wanted a day off the childeren (incl husband) so we went on a Shopping spree, we spended there all day there, I don't know how cause we maxed out our creditcards in the First shop (which is primark) but we had an amazing day! I can honestly say that my aunt is the funniest female i've ever met in my life. Like, i've never met someone so sarcastic since... Well, since my birth. The day after I visited the touristic part of Lissabon, which i've seen a hundred times, but you'll never get bored of it! Since i've been here i've got the lifestyle of a 5 year old child (including the afternoon naps). Which I really don't mind actually. It's been ages ago since I actually woke up and went to sleep at a decent hour. Feel so much healthier.

New outfit!

Walking around in Lissabon

Since yesterday the weather is exactly how I wanted it to be, insanily hot and sunny, sooo I went to the beach yesterday for getting my tan. Woke up early, made a lunchpocket (low cost lifestyle for the win!), a couple bottle of water, fruit and suncream. I have never used suncream before, normally I get the oil for my tan. But I decided to be a good and responsable girl! And I got a huge sunburn. I've never had a sunburn before. So I'm not going to the beach today. I wasn't going anyways, this Portugese dude asked me yesterday to come back today and we could grab something to eat. Sounds like a date to me? These Portugese guys are very smooth when it comes so words. I'm not sure if I like that.

Beach!

This morning, I woke up (obviously), had breakfast, putted on a Nice dress and had a really long walk and at this very moment I am at a place calles ' Fabrica de Polvera'. I'm not sure what this place is, but is a huge park with stuff,  from ages ago, which is pretty cool. You also can outside gym here. I honestly don't care I just Find this a quite and peacefull place. I like it here.

How lovely!

So I'm going to walk Some more and eat because I'm starving :)

Good life!

As soon as I landed (horrible landing btw, I was Literally accepting my death) my family was waiting for me at the airport. I didn't do much the First days, which is awesome, I totally Forgot the feeling of having absolutally Nothing to do, and it felt so damn good. I didn't do much accept for sleeping, Chilling with the Fam, going for walks and take naps. I totally needed this. Yesterday was my uncles birthday so we went out for lunch and Walked through the Shoppingcentre. I can proudly say that I behaved very well at primark! The weather is not very great here, which pisses me a bit off, but this morning I thought, ' maybe if I put on my bikini and sunglasses and go to the beach, maybe it will get sunny. So that's exactly what I did, I took a random bus and took off. After 15 minutes I was on the beach and the sun was shining!

For me is walking in the ocean the First real holiday feeling, so that's the First thing I did and just stood there looking around and enjoying the sun and the wind. After that I had a long walk on the beach.

At this moment I'm sitting in the grass at a bar in front of the beach under the palmtrees and ordered myself a drink. While listening The Weeknd and enjoying the view I can honestly say that I'm living the life right now! My only worries right now is not getting sunburned and dehydrated. Good life, right?

Chilling with the nephews

Lorenzo's First happy meal!

Beach + palmtrees

Me doing absolutally nothing!

Airport struggles

The time had come, I had to leave. My boyfriend was late and all I wanted was to punch his face and kick his ass but he luckily arrived! We took the train to the AirPort, making Jokes on our way there (secretly holding my tears cause I didn't Wanna look like a marshmallow girlfriend) and ofcourse went for food! The minutes were going faster and faster and I went for a last smoke. I was realizing that I was leaving for a month in a couple of minutes and just bursted out in tears and became that marshmallow girlfriend that I didn't Wanna be. But I had to say goodbye and go catch my plane. I looked like an complete idiot with my swaggy badass outfit but crying like a pussy on the airport. After sitting on the ground for 10minutes looking like an homeless (but very fashionable) drugaddict, I had to go through the security. Ofcourse Every single alarm that existed went off, 'cause that's my life. I had to open my luggage but because my mum tied the endings up with an elastic it was veeeery hard and the security dude was looking at me like I was Some retard. After all that I went for a way-too-expensive-and-very-hipster-starbucks coffee and went to my gate. Not to be discriminating but I'm not sure if was more scared for going away for a month or the fact that I'm flying with a low cost airline. Like I always book low cost tickets and everytime I'm pissing myself before even Being on the plane. But anyways Finally on the plane, the 15 minutes I wanted to die, I think I passed out twice when we got up, cried once and had 9 panic attacks. Yes, in 15 minutes. For Some reason I calmed down and I'm chilling (without enough space for my legs, but I'm Chilling). And I'm Eating noodles, on a plane, with sticks, while wearing a white shirt. I feel very yolo. But I don't care because in 40 minutes I'll arrive in Portugal with 27 degrees!
(For the not so smart ones, I don't have WiFi on the plane, I'm uploading this when I get there) :)

Xoxo
Airplane noodles!

This leg space tho... :s

Lovely isn't it?

Portugal here I come!

In 5 hours from now I'm leaving to Portugal for a whole month!
I wasn't very smart tho, I can take 10kg of luggage. For a whole month.
Oh lord, this means, 3 dresses, a couple of shorts and 4 pair of shoes...
And bikini's, a lot of bikini's! I'm pretty stressed, I'm scared of flying, I'm pretty sure I'll forget something, probably going to spend too much money but I'm sure it's going to be awesome. I just had a lovely breakfast with my sister and mum, and in a couple of hours my boyfriend is gonna pick me up and drop me off at the airport. I'm gonna miss his annoying ass around me tho... But I can't wait for cool things to happen, new people to meet and awesome places to see! The weather is looking pretty good aswell so I don't think I have to worry for that perfect sun kissed skin. But I need to go now, take a shower and leave!

Citytrip London Day 3 and 4

Oh God, I really need to write more...
London was in January and we're almost May and I still haven't finished it...
Ohwell, let met just start with day 3

On the third day we decided to have a 'Cultural day'.
We didn't. We walked, got lost, walked, got coffee, got lost again.
That was basically our day. I didn't see Buckingham palace, London Bridge,...
I didn't see a single fuck over there. I saw Picadilly Circus! But that was quick on my way to
Victoria's Secret... We walked for 2 hours to find Victoria's Secret and than we walked 2 hours IN Victoria's Secret, probably one of the happiest moments in my life. After spending literally all my money on boob fabrics, we went Nando's. Discovering Nando's made my life better.
That day I also met Nicole's boyfriend. He's pretty cool and we had a lot of fun that day. We watched movies, ate, sang karaoke stuff aaaand that's basically it.

Day 4

We had to wake up really early because I had to leave again. Really sad.
So we woke up, with my last money paid for breakfast for everyone and went to the train.
As soon as I got at the check in my ticket wouldn't work so I asked help and apparently my train was the day after. Wow... I was a day to early to leave? How even? So called my mum, she said I was an idiot and went back to Nicole's place. I didn't had any money left because I really needed to pay for breakfast so we couldn't do anything. So we just slept and ate all day, which was a pretty perfect end for a pretty perfect weekend.

+ I'll add some photo's later and I'll try to write some more :)

Citytrip London Day 1 and 2

It's been a while since I wrote here, but I was kinda busy, I guess...
Anyways I still have to write about my awesome weekend in London.
I don't think I was ever so excited to see someone back than that moment.
Finally that morning arrived, as soon as I got up bed, grabbed some coffee, packed my bags and left to the train station. I didn't know that the Eurostar had that much safety. I mean, I think it's easier to transport 30kg of cocaïne from Singapore trough Brussels Airport than get a bottle of water trough the Eurostar security. Anyways, after a (actually not so) long train ride I got to London. And of course, it was raining, but I couldn't care less. I was in London. The New York City of Europe.
Ofcourse Nicole (the friend I was meeting) was late. Nicole being on time is the same as watching a dog eating with a fork... Makes no sense.
After we jumped each other in St. Pancreas train station, we went for food and coffee and more food and more coffee. She brang me to Candam... You know those little shops in Turkey with the fake ray ban sunglasses and Jack Daniel shirts? Well exactly like that but with hiphop clothing and bongs. HEAVEN ON EARTH. Ofcourse I bought a lot of stuff on the first day... So with a hand full of bags we went for Chinese. In Candam there is a place where you have ALL food, Chinese, Thai, Indonesia, everything next to each other. The good but really fattening Chinese brought us in a major food coma so we had to rest and have another coffee until we were feeling better.

On our way home we passed Primark. At that moment I turned (of course) into a mental disordered crazy woman and spended a looooot more. Ohwell, walking those bags home was more tiresome for my arms than a full hour of power training my biceps. As soon as we got home I met Nicole's lovely mom and brother. ( aaaand we ate a lot of pizza ).

Day 2

Because I already spended a lot of my money on that huge shopping spree I had, we decided to have a chill out day, drink coffee, talk about boys and drink even more coffee. In the evening I made proper Belgium dinner for Nicole and her family. In the evening we went out to a fancy party. Normally I'm the type of girl who wears ripped jeans with Nike's, sweater and a beenie. She nearly killed me when I said ' I'm ready ' while she was putting on high heels and tight dresses. So Nicole and her moment gave me a quick make over into a lady ( which looked really weird actually but okay, if that makes her happy...) As soon as we were at the party I was happy for the heels. Everyone was in suit sipping champagne and then there was I trying myself not to drown in the Rosé. Ohwell, mrs lightweight I am, I reached my point at rosé nr 2. So I forced Nicole to get me to the Kebab shop. So there were we sitting in a fancy dress, with make up on, drunk (yes I am drunk after 2 wines, believe it or not) eating a big fat kebab which got me in a food coma again and made me leave the party before 1 am in the morning. Isn't that a classy night out? That's how I roll.

London, baby!

Heeeell yeah!
Tomorrow morning I'm heading to London City!
I'm finally going to meet up with my very best friend Nicole, who I met in Greece.
The next couple of days are going to be all about coffee, Topshop and a bucket of chicken wings from the KFC. There's no such thing as the English food. A big fat English breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, beans and sausage. Lunch will be fish and chips or Nando's. Dinner = BURGER KING and after a lot of wine and a great night out we'll get a big kebab. How can people ever be in a bad mood with all that delicious food in every corner of the street? Ofcourse eating is not the only thing that I'm gonna do (to bad, life would be good)... I already got myself a city book of London, with the things I really wanna see and of course what would a city trip in London be without shopping? That's right, worthless. It's like going to Amsterdam and not smoke weed... Makes no sense at all. Anyways, I really have to go to the gym right now because this weekend is gonna be rough! I'll keep my blog up to date!

A night in Paris.

I was back for 24 hours and I went to the gym. It's a ritual that after gym I'm going to drink a tea in the bar where I work. So after gym, I was tired and went for a cup of green tea.
For some reason that cup of green tea turned into a glass of wine. Everyone knows, girls who drink a couple of glasses of wine, have the best idea's!

So I decided I wanted to eat a 'croissant avec le Jus d'orange' in Paris. And as stubborn as I am, I got what I wanted. Me and some friends took off at 1AM in the morning to Paris!
After a 5 hour ride and 3 cigarette breaks at gas stations, we finally arrived in the city of love, Paris.

Even at night time and in the freezing cold, the city was beautiful. We were trying to find our way to the Eiffel tower, we passed the 'Arc de Triomph' , and the 'Champs Elysees' and than finally after a long walk we found the Eifel Tower. It was really weird actually, because you don't see the tower until you're right in front of it. It was 6 in the morning and the lights were off. Which was a bummer.

So we went to eat a 'Croissant avec le Jus d'orange' until the sun rised. That was probably the best breakfast I've ever had in my life and when we finished we went back to the Eifel Tower. That view and that sunrise was priceless! After we took a couple pictures of the most famous building of Europe, we were absolutely knackered and went back to our car for a 5 hour trip back home.

This was probably the coolest night of my life!

Budapest : Day 3

It's been a while since I blogged, I was busy with the holidays!
But I still got a lot to tell.

So I there's 1 day left of my experience in Budapest.
Me and my friend woke up early after a good night sleep, we didn't even had a hangover from the wine from the day before! So we went for breakfast and decided to go to the Thermes!
After a really long walk and probably 30 coffee breaks we found the Thermes. It was beautiful and so relaxing. After a couple of hours, we were totally relaxed and went for lunch.

It was so cold up there, so we went for another coffee break, just to keep us warm. While chilling and drinking a café latté in one of the fancy bars, we realized something. It was 4 in the afternoon, and we had our flight at 6... We should've been on the airport already. So we literally started running to the hotel, which was like 5 miles away. I don't think I've ever been that stressed!
Luckily we fixed another transfer to the airport! Right on time we arrived in the airport and before we knew we were back in Belgium from a great city trip in Budapest.
